BORDER WOMAN is a virtual scenario built by feminist women, and specially by women who have suffered trafficking.

 

Our objectives:

 

• Make trafficking situations visible. 

 

• Create a virtual forum to share our thoughts and proposals.

 

• Show that women who have suffered trafficking also have special skills to become agents of transformation.

 

• Be recognized as active women, as social subjects, and not only as victims.

 

We are women from Mexico, Pakistan, Bolivia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Rumania, Argentina, Philippines, Morocco, Senegal and Colombia. We are mostly immigrants in Spain and the United States of America. 

 

We want “Border Woman” to become an instrument for immigrant and trafficked women; a space that acknowledges the wisdom acquired through both good and bad experiences; an invitation to express their experiences in their own words.
